Prime Path Advisory, Inc.
Prime Path Advisory, Inc. ("Prime Path Advisory," "we," "us," or "our") is a California corporation providing tax advisory, tax planning, and tax preparation and filing services. Our mailing address is 3435 Wilshire Blvd, Ste 1400, Los Angeles, CA 90010.
This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information in connection with this website - including our contact forms, call booking flow, and the emails and text messages you receive from us as a result.
Information you provide to us after you become a client - tax documents, identification numbers, financial statements, and similar materials - is governed primarily by your engagement agreement with us and by the confidentiality obligations described in Section 7 below, not by our website's advertising and analytics practices.
We are a tax advisory firm. We are not registered as an investment adviser or broker-dealer, and we do not provide securities, investment, or portfolio-management advice.
This may include your name, email address, and phone number; approximate income, employment or business situation, and the tax issues you want help with, when you choose to tell us; the content of your messages, form submissions, and scheduling responses; and any other information you volunteer in a form, email, text message, or call.
If you become a client, we separately collect the information needed to perform tax services - including Social Security or taxpayer identification numbers, tax returns, income and investment records, and identification documents. We collect that material through direct communication with our team and our document systems, not through this website's forms.
When you visit this website, we and our service providers automatically collect your IP address and approximate location derived from it (city or region level); device, browser, and operating system information; pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, scroll depth, and navigation path; referring website and search or advertising campaign parameters (such as UTM tags); video engagement data, including which videos you played and how much of each you watched; and cookie and device identifiers assigned to your browser.
We receive information from advertising platforms about how you interacted with our ads, and from partners who refer clients to us.
If you do not want this to happen, see Section 9.
We use information to respond to your inquiry and schedule, confirm, and remind you about calls; to provide our tax advisory, planning, preparation, and filing services; to send you follow-up emails and text messages about your inquiry or engagement; to send educational and marketing communications, subject to your right to opt out; to measure which advertising campaigns and web pages produce inquiries, and to attribute bookings and clients to their source; to build audiences for our advertising and to show ads to people who visited our site or resemble our existing clients; to improve our website, service offerings, and internal operations; to verify identity, prevent fraud, and maintain the security of our systems; and to comply with applicable law and professional obligations, including IRS Circular 230, and to establish or defend legal claims.
This website uses cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies in the following categories. Strictly necessary technologies run the site, our forms, and security and anti-abuse features. Analytics technologies tell us how people find and move through the site. Advertising and conversion measurement technologies report which ads led to inquiries and let us build advertising audiences; these technologies share data with advertising platforms. Video technologies play our videos and record engagement with them.
Some of these technologies are operated by third parties who set their own cookies and may combine what they observe here with data from other websites. In some cases these providers use additional partners of their own, meaning your information may reach advertising networks we do not directly control.
This website does not display a cookie consent banner. It does honor the Global Privacy Control signal described in Section 10, and you can further limit tracking through your browser settings, by blocking or deleting cookies, by using tracking-protection or ad-blocking tools, or by contacting us using Section 9. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
We disclose personal information to service providers and vendors who operate our website, CRM, email and text messaging, scheduling, video hosting, analytics, document handling, and security systems; advertising and marketing platforms, for conversion measurement, attribution, and audience building; strategy partners, vendors, and professional advisers - including attorneys and accountants - where their involvement is necessary to implement a strategy you have chosen, and subject to confidentiality obligations; professional advisers of ours, such as our own legal counsel and accountants; government authorities and others, where required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulatory process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property; and a successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money.
California law defines "selling" and "sharing" broadly. Because we use advertising and conversion measurement technologies as described above, some of our practices may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and could be treated as a "sale" under those definitions. We describe our practices plainly here rather than rely on a narrow reading of those terms.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
The information you provide to us as a client - including tax documents, taxpayer identification numbers, financial records, and the substance of the advice we give you - is used to provide tax advisory, planning, preparation, and filing services. We do not sell or trade that information, and we do not disclose it to advertising or marketing platforms. It may be shared with service providers, vendors, or strategy partners who directly assist in implementing the strategies you have chosen, where they are bound by confidentiality obligations and operate under our oversight. Any other disclosure occurs only as required by law or with your written consent.
This section covers the client information described above. It does not change how the website analytics and advertising technologies described in Sections 4 through 6 work. Those technologies apply to your use of this website whether or not you later become a client.
With respect to marketing, we may publish anonymized results and may reference a client's industry and, where permitted by the engagement agreement, employer name - never a client's name, taxpayer identification number, or other personally identifying details without written consent. To opt out of the use of your employer's name, email us at david@primepathadvisory.com.
If you provide your phone number and consent to be contacted, we may send you text messages about your inquiry, your scheduled calls, and your engagement. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or phone contact.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to access the personal information we hold about you; correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete; delete your personal information; stop marketing contact - including email, calls, and texts; opt out of advertising and analytics tracking on this website; and opt out of any sharing or sale of your personal information.
Depending on your state, you may also have the right to a portable copy of your information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise them: email david@primepathadvisory.com with your request. Because we do not operate an on-site opt-out toggle, email is the way to reach us, and we treat these requests as covering both future and existing tracking. We may need to verify your identity, and we may ask you to confirm details we already hold. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need additional time as the law allows. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authority.
We are required to keep certain records - including tax records - for periods set by law, so we may not be able to delete everything you ask us to delete. If that happens, we will tell you why.
This website honors the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends one, we do not load our advertising, attribution, or analytics technologies for your visit.
There is no common industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and this website does not respond to them. You can also use Section 9 to tell us your preference directly.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet our legal, tax, and professional obligations. Inquiry and website data from people who never become clients is kept for no longer than we have a business reason to keep it. Client records are retained for the periods required by federal and state tax law and professional standards, which are generally several years after the engagement ends.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information, including access controls limiting information to people who need it, encryption of information in transit to our website, and vendor review. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you need to send us sensitive tax documents, use the secure method our team provides rather than ordinary email.
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our site links to and embeds third-party services, including our scheduling tool and video player, and may link to partner websites. This policy does not cover their practices. Review their privacy policies directly.
We operate in the United States and direct our services to people in the United States. If you access this website from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws differ from those where you live.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will provide more prominent notice if the changes materially affect how we use or share your information. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
